This summer local and through traffic had to contend with delays not due to the school bus or other vehicles but a flock of sheep.  Local farmer, Jim Stephens was shepherding his woolly ladies through the village to reach new grazing.

Locals watched with smiles of surprise, and Charlie Werner took this photo to capture the moment. Available as postcards in the Post Office shop.

Photo provided by kind permission of Charlie Werner.

Wanted - Space for Bee Hives

I recently moved to New Buildings and I would like to ask if anyone has any space in their garden, orchard or the corner of a field to keep my bees.

If you think you can help or know somebody that perhaps can I would be most grateful.

Thank you.
